Slopes were icing and crowded with long lift lines.

Slopes were icing and crowded with long lift lines. We went over to Vail and slopes had great snow and very low lines and didn’t feel crowded. Our first time to both places. Breckenridge town was cute but had long wait times at the restaurants. Elevation was too high for us - took us two days to adjust. It is frustrating to drive in Breckenridge- slow traffic and not enough public parking.

The town was nice and easy to get around. The ski area was huge and accommodated all levels of skiing. For a group with all different skiing levels and ages ranging from young child to retired age, this was perfect and allowed everyone to have a great time.

I would recommend this location to someone that is a skier or snowboarder. Other than that, there is nothing of real substance for someone to do in Breckenridge or neighboring towns. Also - beware of altitude sickness! My 15 year old was struck with HAPE, and some of the issue may have been the lack of proper acclimation to altitude. If able, it is a very good idea to get to altitude slowly - take several days to do it. The downtown area is full of restaurants and boutiques, so, if that's your thing, you may love it. I was with two snowboarders and bored out of my mind. Make sure to budget for inflated prices at restaurants, etc., as well. Overall, not my scene, but I can definitely see the appeal if you are there to partake in winter activities.

The photos on Booking.com that were in the listing when I first reserved were not at all what I found when I arrived. They were far more luxurious-looking. I reported this to the host after checking in, and the photos that are up now are accurate representations of the penthouse I booked. I would have likely still booked it, but with lower expectations.

This was our first time in Breckenridge, and we will be back.A great variety of ski terrain. Everyone in our group had plenty of slope to explore at all skill levels. Lots of fun places to party in town.

It was a wonderful stay - updated, clean, comfortable.

It was a wonderful stay - updated, clean, comfortable. We had a corner unit with beautiful views. We could see the gondola from our living room and watch skiers right outside our window. Our host provided excellent communication and we found the front desk staff to be very helpful and courteous. The shuttle provided by the lodge was very convenient, as was the walk to the free bus around town. Picking up groceries was very easy. We would not hesitate to recommend.!

This hotel is downtown, about a 2 minute walk off Main Ave and on corner of Ski Lift Road and Park Ave. It is just a 5 minute walk from Breckenridge Station, which is where the airport shuttles drop off passengers. Breckenridge Station has the Gondola which takes visitors up to Peak 7 and 8 ski areas. It is a 5 minute walk to the Main Plaza. and sits right on the Blue River, which is a nice area. A car is not needed as long as you remain in Breckenridge. City Bus system is excellent, bus stop in front of Condo.

Hi, Upon arrival at der Steiermark we were unable to gain access to the apartment. We talked to the landlord but was unable to help. We called the numbers on the booking confirmation but got no responses. We were left with no option but to book into the hotel across the road.  The next morning we tried again without any luck.  We called vacasa help and spoke to a person who gave us a née code which worked.  I'm seeking a refund for the night missed.  Regards  Roy Gibson

Great location. Awesome that it had a hot tub (too hot tho - see below). Loved the deck. Door code was good. Better than a key. Tons of space compared to a hotel room and cheaper than the condos up at the mountain (Ski Hill place is where we stayed last time). Lovely area and trees and landscaping. Quiet. Nice kitchen. Great TV's. Very clean and nice furniture. Rental company was easy to deal with and very communicative which made it so much easier to ask questions and plan.

Loved that this little gem was outside of the business and hubbub of Breckenridge, and very reasonably priced for the area. It was quiet, and a fun place to stay. Really appreciated being able to buy breakfast on site, and having beverages available for purchase in the fridge in the room. Being outdoor enthusiasts, we really enjoyed the outdoor theme and the hammock in the room was a unique and wonderful addition.

We loved the balcony and view of the snow capped mountain across from our room. The staff was very friendly. We had a pay issue with paying through booking.com, and the hotel charged us as well. We brought this to the staffs attention and the man working was very friendly and gave us a refund on one of the charges that were placed on my card. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying in this area.

Loved it! Great spot, great location, super cozy and very friendly. They did a great job on making a comfortable atmosphere, with options to sit in the "lobby" or outside at the hotel. Walkable to everything and parking was a breeze. This being my first visit to Breckenridge, I can now confidently say this was by far the best housing option in the city and would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Super friendly and helpful manager who checked us in early. She's a gem! Our room was clean and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Plenty of parking spaces available, and it's in a quiet residential neighborhood. The drive up to the location from Breckenridge was beautiful! It's located up the side of a mountain just above Breckenridge, and very close to some ski areas.

Clean, comfy and warm. Beds are fine and it would be good for a longer term stay. Quiet compared to the main hotel area. Kitchen is big enough, and lounge area is very nice. It's a slightly older place but that is no problem, the fittings are all fine. Walk to Gondola is short, walk to town centre is slightly longer but you can be at the restaurants in about 5 mins walk or less.

This home was absolutely phenomenal with gorgeous views, and a cozy, clean atmosphere! The attention to detail and the decor were perfect for the mountain home experience! We were close to the ski slopes and the downtown Breckenridge area, but just far enough out to feel and see the gorgeous mountains from the top of the hill!

The property is very nice, somewhat isolated (which was enjoyable), and roomy. It is 3 stories tall and includes a 2 car garage, with a spacious parking area. It's about halfway between Breckenridge and Frisco. You definitely need a 4 wheel drive vehicle in the winter to be safe.

The view was absolutely phenomenal from my room, Beats anything else you can get in the upscale hotels in downtown Breckenridge that cost an arm and a leg to stay at! The on-site restaurant isn't cheap, but it does serve high quality food & drinks with that same amazing view

The staff and the manager at the hotel are excellent. They don't try to hide behind the problems, but were honest and about the challenge of managing a property where the rooms are privately owned and not in the same condition.
